As a native New Yorker, one of the things you are constantly exposed to are culture and diversity. Learning from people that are different from you is an enriching endeavor that all should hold in high esteem. It is this mindset that gave Dr. Hodge a passion for people and a heart to enter into medicine.

Dr. Omari Hodge is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. Dr. Hodge completed his Family Medicine residency at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina. Additionally, he earned his medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia where he served as class president as well as president for his local chapter of CMDA (Christian Medical Dental Association). He received his Bachelor of Science in biology from University of West Georgia where he helped establish the first chapter of M.A.P.S (Minority Association of Pre-Health Students).

As a primary care physician, Dr. Hodge has worked in a variety of roles. From urgent care to campus medicine and most recently graduate medical education, he has an array of experiences from which he draws. Currently he is an attending physician to the numerous medical students and Family Medicine residents who rotate through the clinic and hospital at Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, Gainesville campus. Dr. Hodge currently serves on the board of trustees at Christian Medical & Dental Associations and enjoys traveling, mission work and spending time with his wife and four children.
