Christine Gillespie

About

Christine Gillespie joined the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Graduate Medical Education program (NGMC GME) in November 2023. Her passion for helping others and being a lifelong learner transfers well into her role as the program coordinator for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship program.

Christine has enjoyed nearly 30 years in the public education space, both teaching and in leadership. Having won Teacher of the Year several times, Christine is certified to teach in Florida and Georgia with endorsements in PreK-8th grade, Gifted and ESOL. In addition to her role with GME, Christine is a business owner who enjoys reading at the beach, decorating for the holidays, spending time with her two adult sons and taking care of her rescue dog, Charlie.    

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida State University, her master’s degree in Education from Piedmont College and her specialist degree in Training/Leadership from Piedmont College (summa cum laude).
