Interview Day

On the day of your NGMC internal medicine residency interview, you will tour our Gainesville hospital campus and watch a video tour of our Braselton campus.

Formal interviews will be held with the internal medicine program director, associate program director and various internal medicine faculty. You will be evaluated on personal, academic and patient care qualities during the interview day.

We encourage each applicant to come prepared with their own questions about our program.

The interview day will be a combination of assessments for best fit with our program as well as an introduction to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center mission, vision values and daily operations.

We hope that you will learn from us during your visit and ultimately choose our program to be your next training home.

NGMC is committed to equal opportunity for all students and physicians who apply to the residency programs and to nondiscrimination in the recruitment, appointment and retention of residents.

NGMC does not discriminate with regard to race, gender, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation (including gender identity) or status as a protected veteran.
