About
Dr. Anwar was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. She married her best friend and moved to Buford, Georgia – so she is very happy to continue to call Georgia home! Outside of medicine, Dr. Anwar enjoys playing badminton, cooking and hosting, volunteering for different causes, ‘DIY’ home projects, hiking trails (Dr. Anwar admits that Georgia has some of the best waterfalls and parks), traveling and visiting museums.
“A lot of the appeal of internal medicine is Sherlockian—solving the case from the clues. We are detectives; we revel in the process of figuring it all out. It’s what doctors most love to do” – Lisa Sanders
