The Office of Graduate Medical Education provides institutional oversight to all residency and fellowship programs through policies and procedures that are approved by the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC)
Graduate Medical Education Committee

The Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) is a standing committee responsible for establishing and implementing policies and procedures and for overseeing program compliance with ACGME requirements. Our GMEC meets monthly and is chaired by the Designated Institutional Official; residents elected by their peers sit in this committee as well. Functional subcommittees that report to our GMEC include:

  • Wellness
  • Scholarly Activity
  • Resident CoRE Education
