About

Dr. Dodoo received his medical education at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He migrated to the United States for his Internal Medicine Residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville where he won the Medical Excellence award. He is excited and elated to be joining the Georgia Heart Institute at Northeast Georgia Medical Center as a Cardiovascular Disease fellow.

Dr. Dodoo is both humbled and anxiously anticipates an outstanding journey in the world of Cardiology as he receives mentorship and guidance under the tutelage of the outstanding and world-renowned faculty at the Georgia Heart Institute. He believes cardiology is a nexus of lifelong learning, innovation, and research. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys watching soccer, baseball, football, and basketball. He also enjoys spending time with his family.

What are your goals during residency training?

My goal is to pursue a career in interventional cardiology.
