About

Dr. Purser is a Family Medicine physician who recently completed his residency in June 2020. In addition to his work with NGMC, he currently practices broad spectrum Family Medicine full-time in rural northeast Georgia in a federally-qualified health center. Dr. Purser also remains actively involved with OneWorld Health, an international mission organization based in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. Purser’s passions include the research and development of quality health systems to reach undeserved patients both domestically and abroad. Through teaching, he also hopes to heighten each individual learner’s success in becoming a quality physician.

When he is not taking care of patients or teaching, Dr. Purser is spending time with his wife Jane, and his two pups, Otis and Olive.
