Emmalyn Dyer, C-TAGME


About

Emmalyn has been in healthcare for over twenty years, starting her career in patient access departments primarily in rural community hospitals. She joined the GME department at NGMC as a program coordinator in 2018, then moved into her current role of program coordinator for the Family Medicine residency in 2019. Emmalyn has been a member of AFMA since 2019 and has been serving on the RAD Workshop Committee since 2021. Emmalyn is also a member of the board of directors for the Association of Family Medicine Administrators. 

Having been with the Family Medicine residency since its inaugural class in 2019, Emmalyn is deeply committed to its success. She is always happy to lend advice, share information or provide moral support to fellow program coordinators and residents alike. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter (Kayleigh – 14) and traveling – especially to Disney World or Hawaii. 

Emmalyn holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Georgia, Mike Cottrell College of Business.
