Dr. Lively is an emergency medicine physician committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients in the Northeast Georgia region in their most vulnerable moments. A native of Cumming, Georgia, he earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. During his training, he was recognized with the Beranton Whisenhunt Excellence in Critical Care Medicine Award for his outstanding performance and dedication to patient care. Dr. Lively has a strong clinical interest in resuscitation, cardiac emergencies, and orthopedic injuries.
After completing residency, Dr. Lively and his wife, Sarah, returned to North Georgia to raise their family. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with loved ones, playing golf, fishing, and supporting his favorite sports teams—the Falcons, Jaguars, Braves, and Tennessee Volunteers.
