About

Dr. Jason Konzelmann is originally from central Illinois. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where he received bachelor degrees in both Biology and Psychology. He obtained is medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine before attending the University of Florida Health Science Center Shand’s/Jax in Jacksonville, FL and completing a residency in Emergency Medicine. He is a fellow within the American College of Emergency Physicians and is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Konzelmann currently serves on the GEDS executive board and is the observation unit medical director. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking and participating in a variety of outdoor sports.
