About

I was born and raised in Miami, FL.  Seeking a change in the weather, I went north to New Hampshire to attend Dartmouth College.  After graduation, I moved to San Francisco, where I did AIDS research at UCSF before heading back east for medical school and residency in New York.  Returning home to Florida, I practiced Emergency Medicine for 14 years in Miami.  As a new member of GEDS, I am overjoyed to begin the next chapter in my career as an Emergency Medicine physician in Northeast Georgia.

 In our free time, my family and I enjoy cruising around the country in our RV.  We hope to eventually see all of the National Parks one day.  As of this writing, we’ve been to about half of them.  In moving to Georgia, we will spend more time in the mountains, yet we also hope to stay connected to the sea.
