About

Dr. West received her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Dartmouth College. She then completed a Masters in Science at Georgetown University before attending Emory University School of Medicine where she graduated summa cum laude. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center, serving as a chief resident in her final year. After residency, she joined the faculty at Carolinas Medical Center for three years before moving back to Georgia in 2019 to serve as the associate program director of the emergency medicine residency at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Dr. West enjoys taking care of members of her community and feels honored to be able to serve a diverse patient population every day. She believes that prioritizing education further advances the quality and availability of care in her community and loves training the future generations of excellent emergency medicine physicians. Her academic interests include education, simulation, and ultrasound. In her free time, Dr. West enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
