Neil Schwarz, Ph.D., serves as a Multidisciplinary Research Coordinator with Graduate Medical Education at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Dr. Schwarz holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Alabama. His doctoral studies were conducted at Baylor University in the area of Exercise, Nutrition, and Preventive Health with a focus on human skeletal muscle molecular signaling in response to exercise interventions. Prior to joining NGMC, Dr. Schwarz was a faculty member in the Exercise Science program at the University of South Alabama for 12 years where he taught courses and conducted research in the area of exercise and nutrition.
