Dr. Stefanie Kananda is a board-certified osteopathic physician specializing in pulmonary medicine. She completed her fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, with training at both UPMC Presbyterian and UPMC Hamot. Dr. Kananda served as Chief Resident during her Internal Medicine Residency at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), where she also earned a Master of Health Services Administration.
Dr. Kananda holds a Doctor of Osteopathy from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Franklin & Marshall College. Her clinical interests include complex pulmonary conditions, critical care, and preventive respiratory health. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to diverse patient populations.
