About

I am an A.B.C., American-born Chinese, born in the Bay Area, California, and grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia. I love to travel, mainly for the food, and I like to challenge myself to cook/bake culturally authentic foods. Described as a thrill-seeking, adrenaline junkie, I like being active and learning/trying new, unconventional things, like skydiving and how to ride a motorcycle. I like playing pranks and surprising people, and I never want to stop having fun in my free time.

If you have a spouse or significant other, tell us their name and a little about them.
Kedron. He got recruited for the World Cup for Jamaica because he’s pretty badass at soccer, builds and races his car, met Steve Harvey when he and his family were on Family Feud, and specializes in giving me a hard time.

Tell us if you have any children and their name(s)

What do you like to do in your free time?
Learning and doing new things is my favorite thing to do. Most recently, I learned pottery and how to curl like an Olympian. I found a free piano and have been learning how to play through YouTube. I play outdoors, like tennis, camping, and spike ball. I’m really into hippie-dippie stuff, so I make body products like chapsticks and body butters, compost and ferment foods, make kombucha and kefir, and bake sourdough breads along with other baked goods.

Tell us an interesting fact about you.
While going through a quarter-life crisis, I thoughtlessly traveled to Egypt by myself during their 2011 Revolution.

What’s a unique skill you have that you don’t think anyone else in the residency will have?
I can solve a Rubik’s cube in about 2 minutes.
