Dr. Vickery is from Debary, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, continuing on to medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. It was there that she fell in love with Family Medicine.

Dr. Vickery was called to Family Medicine because of her passion for preventative care. She loves that she will have the opportunity to care for patients of all ages and in all stages of their life. She is especially interested in community and rural medicine. After completing residency, she hopes to practice Family Medicine in rural North Georgia.

“I chose NGMC because of its focus on community medicine and positive culture. It felt like a family. I was surrounded by people with similar interests, and I left my interview day knowing that NGMC is where I wanted to attend residency.”

Dr. Vickery is married to her husband William, a firefighter, and they have one dog, Bandit. They love spending their free time outdoors hiking, fishing, boating, mountain biking, and paddleboarding.

She is looking forward to the opportunity to care for her own patients at Northeast Georgia Medical Center!
