About
Dr. Baumgartner was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. After graduating from high school in Germany he moved to Paris, France, and received a bachelor’s degree in International Hotel Management with a minor in Accounting. For three years he worked in the hospitality industry before deciding to go back to school to pursue a degree in medicine.
Dr. Baumgartner received a bachelor of science in Biomedical Sciences from USF in Tampa and went on to graduate from St. Georges University School of Medicine.
Outside of medicine Dr. Baumgartner is an avid runner, loves hiking, and staying active in the outdoors with his wife and fellow intern Dr. Maria Baumgartner. Eventually, he would love to participate in a triathlon. After a long day at work, he enjoys playing video games, eating food, and watching soccer.
