About
Dr. Asouzu is a native of Montgomery, Alabama, and received his undergraduate and medical degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He enjoys teaching and mentorship and looks forward to working alongside fellow residents and with medical students.
Dr. Asouzu has completed pediatric surgery outcome-based research and is interested in continuing clinical research to improve surgical outcomes. His clinical interests include acute care surgery, vascular surgery, and robotic surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Medical Association (AMA). His hobbies include basketball and soccer, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
