About
1. What inspired you to pursue psychiatry and what are your clinical interests within psychiatry?
My interest in psychiatry began long before medical school, shaped by personal relationships and a lifelong curiosity about the human mind. During my rotations, I saw that psychiatry is unique in its ability to meet people where they are, listen deeply, and help them imagine a better future. My clinical interests include mood disorders, dual diagnosis, psychotherapy, and medical education.
2. What do you enjoy most about being part of this residency program?
What I enjoy most about being part of this residency program is feeling supported as both a learner and a colleague. The strong emphasis on teaching and mentorship, combined with a culture of teamwork, creates an environment where growth is encouraged and residents are truly invested in one another’s success!
3. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy running, spending time with my wife, cooking, and traveling. I also enjoy movies, reading, and taking care of our new puppy!
