About
1. What inspired you to pursue psychiatry and what are your clinical interests within psychiatry?
As I rotated through medical school, I found myself consistently drawn to how mental health was affecting patients on every rotation. Seeing this repeatedly led me to pursue psychiatry to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. My clinical interests include psychosis, perinatal mental health, and inpatient psychiatric care.
2. What do you enjoy most about being part of this residency program?
I appreciate that the faculty are approachable and very invested in our education. There are ample opportunities for learning and scholarly activity. Also, I enjoy the friendly co-residents as well as the proximity to the mountains and Atlanta.
3. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
