Originally from the speedways of Talladega, Alabama, Dr. Harvell earned his bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in biology with a minor in chemistry. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama.
Dr. Harvell’s surgical interests include Trauma/Critical Care, Colorectal, and General Surgery.
Dr. Harvell has two young sons, Bentley and Oliver, who love playing video games, playing outdoors, and anything water-related.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Harvell enjoys spending time with his family, backpacking in the Cheaha Wilderness of the Talladega National Forest, woodworking, golfing, hunting, fishing, and trying his hand at new hobbies and crafts.
