Before moving to Jordan, I grew up in Ramallah, Palestine, to complete medical school. Following graduation, I worked as a physician in Palestine before moving to Pittsburgh, PA, to complete a master’s degree in clinical research and a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. My areas of interest in emergency medicine include cardiac ischemia, global health, and social determinants of health. I enjoy yoga, soccer, and traveling (+10 countries visited and hoping for more soon!)

Yoga, soccer, international travel.

I have lived in 5 different countries

What’s a unique skill you have that you don’t think anyone else in the residency will have?
Speaking Arabic, juggling a soccer ball for 5 minutes straight!
