September 20, 2022

Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) is so proud of NGMC Internal Medicine Residency Program Director, Dr. Jim Kruer as the recipient of the American College of Physicians (ACP) Georgia Chapter’s 2022 Mark Silverman Award!

The Mark Silverman Award honors a member, Fellow, or Master in the Chapter who exemplifies devotion to his or her patients, as well as to students, residents, and young/early career physicians in the College. This award serves to recognize the nurturing attitude of a physician who has, not only demonstrated excellence in bedside skills and teaching, but who has also served as an inspiration for younger physicians to advance their knowledge and training in medicine, as well as their involvement in the Georgia Chapter of the ACP.
