Dr. Aditya Ghosh Elected Chair of the American College of Physicians – GA Chapter Resident Council

December 22, 2022

Internal Medicine resident physician (PGY-2) Aditya Ghosh, MD, was elected Chair of the Georgia Chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP) for the 2023 term.

Dr. Ghosh’s primary responsibility is to advocate for all the internal medicine residents across Georgia. This will include presiding over meetings, organizing community outreach events for residents, traveling to the Georgia capital to propose and provide feedback for issues that are of concern for residents, and resident wellness.

“I am excited to bring new ideas to the Council and to work with this awesome group of resident representatives, connecting our residencies across Georgia together, helping us all to grow and thrive by learning from each other’s experiences and make a positive difference in the care of our patients,” says Dr. Ghosh.

Dr. Ghosh is looking forward to collaborating with other residency programs to share information about what is working well and where there is room for improvement.
