Hello! I am Dr. Vijaya Ramalingam, interim program director for the Transitional Year residency at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC). As a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine with over a decade of clinical and academic experience, I am dedicated to providing a rigorous and supportive educational environment that prepares residents for the next stage of their medical careers.

Our program offers a comprehensive and diverse clinical training experience within a robust, community-based health system that serves more than one million individuals across 19 counties. Residents benefit from a collaborative learning atmosphere and access to extensive educational resources designed to foster professional growth and clinical excellence.
