Georgia Heart Institute is one of the largest cardiovascular practices in the northern Atlanta area, with more than 30 board-certified cardiologists at 13 locations across Northeast Georgia. Our goal is to detect any potential heart health risks or heart problems early, and develop a treatment plan designed just for you.  It’s always better to avoid major cardiac problems now, rather than waiting until you have a heart condition that needs to be treated with intervention like stents or angioplasty. If you need more advanced heart care such as a cardiac intervention in a cardiac catheterization lab or electrophysiology, the Georgia Heart Institute is part of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) - this means you have direct access to the specialized heart care you need at NGMC's nationally recognized hospitals.
