Part of orientation involves an exciting and fun hands-on experiences with local EMS experts. Residents enjoy the mountains of north Georgia and learn wilderness medicine, rope skills, rappelling, patient packaging and the 3:1 haul system. Additionally, residents will experience a fire safety drill and rescue at the Hall County fire training facility.
