Infectious Disease Fellowship Curriculum

12 Rotations 

  • 3 Months: Inpatient Consults at NGMC Gainesville
  • 3 Months: Inpatient Consults at NGMC Braselton
  • 3 Months:  Ambulatory Rotations practicing at NGPG Infectious Disease, NGMC Wound Healing Center, and Hall County Health Department​
  • 2 Months: Clinical Micro at NGMC Gainesville
  • 1 Month: Infection Prevention & Control at NGMC Gainesville

12 Rotations 

  • 4 Months: Inpatient Consults at NGMC Gainesville
  • 3 Months: Inpatient Consults at NGMC Braselton​
  • 1 Month: Antimicrobial Stewardship at NGMC Gainesville
  • 1 Month: Ambulatory Clinic at Hall County Health Department
  • 1 Month: Transplant ID (solid organ & bone marrow) at University Hospital
  • 2 Months: Electives

Choice of electives include:

  • Pediatrics
  • Antimicrobial Stewardship
  • Infection Prevention & Control
  • DPH Clinics (STD, Travel, HIV, TB)
