Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Awarded Full Accreditation

February 1, 2024

We are pleased to announce the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program has been awarded full accreditation for the next 10 years by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). This accreditation review verifies that our program meets the highest standards as it pertains to training the next generation of cardiologists.

We are thrilled at this decision and want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Ugochukwu O. Egolum, program director; Dr. Ziad Said, associate program director; Angela Lewis, senior program coordinator; all of the core faculty; and the many physicians and surgeons, advanced practitioners, nurses and techs. Also, a huge recognition for the founding fellows themselves, who have helped construct the program and integrate the fellowship into the daily work.
